the rebels after the battle of Falkirk. Appre¬
hended in Appin after Culloden by the Argyll¬

— Son of a brewer.—P.C., 286 ; JR., Canongate.
No further reference to him.

in Appin in the night time and was apprehended
as a spy. Denies he was in the rebellion.’-—

M'Coll. Was in the rebellion and delivered up
his arms and surrendered some few days before
he attempted to get into the camp.’—S.P.D.,
