14). The Calendar year may be incorrect. Alexander Urquhart was
sheriff-depute of Elgin and Forres before 1505 (RMS, ii, 2621, 2865,

Watt, Fasti, 234. As executor of Bishop John Fraser, he had the
temporality of the bishopric for one year, 1 May 1507 (RSS, i, 1469).
