ward and crossheid provyding it prejudge na man in tyme cumming.136

Compeiris Helenor Merschell and confesses hir fornication with Alexander
Monipenny’s case is not to be taken as precedent for anyone to have this option. In fact,
however, it provided the precedent for Gilbert Blyth in the same circumstances at the next
meeting.
