1 Ardnamurchan—This Parish consists of FiveCountrys, Moidart 24 Miles
long 7 Broad ; Ardnamurchan and Swinart which together are 32 long & 6 Broad;
Arisaig 24 Long & 7 or 8 Broad & Morar 18 Long & 8 Broad. Moidart Arisaig
& Morar lye in Inverness Shire. The number of Inhabitants cannot absolutely
be depended on nor is it known whether those employed about the Mines of
Strontian generally about 5, or 600, are included in the 5000.
2 Campbelton—A considerable number of Papists come to this Parish during
the Fishing Season.
3 Kilcalmonell—Kilberry tho’ divided by an arm of the Sea Nine computed
Miles long is annexed to it.
