To John de Orchinlek, priest, Glasgow diocese. Reservation of a
benefice in the gift of the prioress and convent of Northberwick,
O.cist., to the value of 25 merks sterling if with cure and to the
value of 18 merks sterling if without cure, notwithstanding his
defect of birth as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried
woman from which he has been dispensed to be promoted to all
holy orders and to hold a benefice even if with cure, and notwith¬
standing his recent reservation of a benefice with or without cure
in the gift of the abbot and convent of Kilwinning which, however,
is now declared invalid.
