the reservation of benefices in the gift of the bishop of St Andrews

keld diocese, b.dec., to the parish church of Kylgoure, St Andrews
diocese, value not exceeding ^16 old sterling to a non-resident.
Clement vn had provided James Byset, canon of St Andrews, os A,
to the said church who claimed it was wont to be governed by
canons of St Andrews, and although he had later shown that it was
accustomed to be assigned to and governed by secular clerks, he
was nonetheless dispensed to retain it along with another benefice,
