Wardlaw, canon in that church, nephew of the late Walter, cardinal
of the Roman Church, lest anyone else should be surrogated to these
rights; notwithstanding papal constitutions to the contrary or that
he is perpetual vicar of the said church of Kilconkar.

To the abbot of Melrose. Appropriation at the petition of king
Robert and the abbot and convent of Holyrood, which abbey is
near the marches of England and whose revenues are diminished
by the incursions of the English, of the parish church of St Mary of
Hamer, St Andrews diocese, which the said abbey has held for time
beyond memory and which has been served by a chaplain, and
which appropriation is granted with the consent of the king to
whom the patronage previously had pertained.

To the abbots of Paisley and Kilwinning and to the official of
Glasgow. Mandate to collate Gilbert Bartholomei, clerk, Argyll
diocese, who had studied canon law for several years, to the perpetual
vicarage of St Bruterni, in Buth, Sodor diocese, value not exceeding
56 francs gold, resigned outside the curia by Eugenius Eugenii,
former perpetual vicar, into the hands of Michael, bishop of Sodor,
who had accepted the resignation by ordinary authority and by
the same authority had conferred it on Festitus Murdaci, clerk,
Sodor diocese; and which Gilbert claims to be vacant because of
a payment of 15 merks by Festitus to Eugenius, agreed between
them. The mandatories are to summon Gilbert, Festitus and
Eugenius and if this is proven then Gilbert is to be collated as above.
