To the abbot of Scone. Mandate to collate William de Balmyle,
perpetual vicar of the parish church of Forgrund, St Andrews
diocese, constituted priest, to a canonry of Glasgow with reserva¬
tion of a prebend vacant on or after Id. Sept. [13 Sept.], 1396, not¬
withstanding that he is known to hold the said parish church.2

Thomas, constituted priest, to a canonry of Dunkeld with expecta¬
tion of a prebend vacant on 7 Id. Jul. [9 July], 1397 or thereafter,
provided it is not a major or principal dignity in a cathedral or
collegiate church.

[29th Jan., 1398]; consigned, Kal. Feb., anno 4 [1st Feb., 1398].
Concurrent mandate to the abbots of Scone and Coupar and the
official of St Andrews.

To Donald de Bute, dean of Dunblane. Provision of Donald, of
noble birth, constituted priest, to the deanery of Dunblane, a major
dignity with cure, value 26 merks sterling of silver, as a reserved
benefice, vacant by the death outside the curia of Gilbert Johannis,
late dean, and the pope annuls the provision of Donald made in
ignorance of the reservation by Dugald, bishop of Dunblane, to
whom the presentation to the said deanery had pertained from
ancient custom.
