To William de Ramsay, canon of Dunkeld, lic.dec. Reservation
to William, b.leg., of a benefice in the gift of the bishop, dean and
chapter of Aberdeen, with or without cure, even if a canonry and
prebend or elective dignity, parsonage, or office in a cathedral or
collegiate church provided it is not a major or principal dignity
in a cathedral or collegiate church, if with cure to the value of
40 merks sterling and if without to the value of 30 merks sterling,
vacant after Non. Nov. [5 Nov.], 1397, notwithstanding that he is
known to hold a canonry and prebend of Dunkeld and the parish
church of Tanadas, St Andrews diocese; but on his peaceful assecu-
tion to a benefice as above he is held to demit the said parish church.

of noble birth, priest, St Andrews diocese, a benefice in the gift
of the bishop of St Andrews, with or without cure to the value of
60 merks sterling provided it is not a canonry and prebend in a
cathedral church, vacant after 17 Kal. Oct. [15 Sept.], 1402.1
