Our stock is very low at present, we have only in our ware¬
house and pressbop together 40 pieces including Cloths, Duffles
and Plaidings, and has almost none finishing.
This town is in a most disastrous state, at present no less a number
than 20 individuals have failed in business since this time twelve-
month, whose engagements will reach near £30,000; years hence
