Originally issued with title page reading Historical selections from the
manuscripts of Sir John Lauder. . . . Vol. i. 1837, but the new title was
substituted in 1840. Also an account of the Convention of Estates, 1678, and
other papers, some added (with the index) in 1840.

M. Charles Purton Cooper. These were the only vols. of Cooper’s work ever
