LIEUTENANT WILLIAM LEITCH STUART, 2 Murrayfield Gardens,
Edinburgh.
Enlisted in gth Royal Scots in August 1914, and obtained a Commission in
7th Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) in October of that year. Went to
France in May 1915 and served with his Regiment until invalided home in
November 1917.
CAPTAIN ROBERT TEDCASTLE, M.C., 25 Rutland Street, Edinburgh.
(Apprentice.)
Enlisted in Scots Guards. Went to France in August 1916 and was
wounded in the Battle of the Somme in September of that year. Received
Commission in The Cheshire Regiment, and again went to France in June
1918. Wounded at Battle of the Marne in August 1918. Promoted
Captain. Awarded Military Cross (action Grand-Rozoy, 28th July to
2nd August 1918).
CAPTAIN ALAN URAHAM THOMSON, II South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh.
Received Commission as 2nd Lieutenant 7th Royal Scots in July 1915.
Served in France and Belgium with 2nd Royal Scots from October
1916 till September 1917, when posted missing. Subsequently reported
killed at Zonnebeke, Belgium, on 26th September 1917. Promoted
Acting Captain.
LIEUTENANT FREDERICK LEWIS MAITLAND TOD, 45 Castle
Street, Edinburgh.
Enlisted in gth Royal Scots in August 1914. Afterwards obtained
a Commission and served in Egypt with the Army Service Corps from
June till September 1915; from October 1915 till April 1918 in Servia,
Macedonia, and Palestine ; and from April till September 1918 in
France. Accidentally wounded on 20th September 1918.
CAPTAIN THOMAS TODRICK, 30 Regent Terrace, Edinburgh.
Held Captaincy in 8th Royal Scots when called up August : i9i4- Served in
France from November to 15th December 1914. Killed in action on the
latter date. Mentioned in Dispatches.
