ALEXANDER STUART WATT, 5 Circus Gardens, Edinburgh.
Attached to 2/5th Royal Scots September to November 1915. Attached
to Gold Coast Regiment, West African Frontier Force, at Coomassie
December 1915. Proceeded with Gold Coast Regiment in July 1916 to
German East Africa. Returned to Gold Coast to refit August 1918, and
transferred back from Gold Coast Regiment to Political Service in
December 1918.
ACTING SERGEANT THOMAS SCOTT WELSH, 22 Castle Street,
Edinburgh.
Enlisted in Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Served in France till December
1918. Promoted Acting Sergeant at Calais.

LIEUTENANT WILLIAM HOLMES IVORY, 6 Albyn Place, Edinburgh.
Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant to 2/8th Battalion The Royal Scots nth June
1915. Gazetted Lieutenant 1st July 1917. Served in France with the
5/6 Battalion The Royal Scots, 30th September 1917 to 24th December 1918.
CAPTAIN ARTHUR WALKER RUSSELL, iS Learmonth Gardens,
Edinburgh.
Commissioned as Captain 3/7th Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, 2nd
February 1915. Served with that Battalion and 5th Reserve Argyll &
Sutherland Highlanders at home until April 1918, when proceeded to
France. Served there with the nth and 8th Battalions until end of June,
when invalided home and was demobilised in June 1919. Also served
in the Appointments Department of the Ministry of Labour, November
1918 to August 1920, when retired.
LIEUTENANT THE HONOURABLE ADAM GEORGE WATSON, 25
Melville Street, Edinburgh.
Received Commission as 2nd Lieutenant 8th (Res.) Battalion The Royal
Scots, December 1914. Promoted Temporary Lieutenant March 1915.
O.C. "B" Coy. 2/8th Battalion The Royal Scots May 1915 to July
1917 — when disbanded. Promoted Temporary Captain June 1915 — re-
gazetted Lieutenant July 1917. B.E.F. attached 5/6 Battalion The
Royal Scots 30th September 1917 till wounded 10th April 1918. Later
attached Scottish Command in connection with Return of Prisoners of
War at Leith Docks, December 1918.
