MacPHERSON, Donald Mackay. No. 372635, Pte., 8th City of London Post Office Rifles ;
born at Cummingston, 20th March, 1890 ; joined at Elgin, 9th Feb., 1916 ; served in France ;
received shell wound in left thigh, 19th Oct., 1918. Son of John and Helen MacPherson,
Cummingston. Occupation, postman.
MACPHERSON, Duncan A. No. 2408306, Pte., 60th Canadian Rifles ; born at Cawdor, 1st
Feb., 1893, residing in Morayshire during childhood ; joined at Regina, Canada, April, 1916 ;
served in France. Son of James and Isabella Macpherson, Broom of Moy, Forres. Occupa-
tion, blacksmith.
MACPHERSON, Duncan Mearns. 2nd Lieut., 2 /6th Seaforths, West Riding Regt., and Durham
LI- ; born at Elgin, 28th April, 1887 ; joined at Victoria, B.C., August, 1914 ; served in
France ; awarded Military Medal ; invalided, suffering from shell shock. Son of the Rev.
R. and Catherine D. Macpherson, The Manse, Elgin. Occupation, bank clerk.

George Macpherson, Glenlivet, Banffshire, and Margaret Lamb or Macpherson. Occupation,
greenkeeper.
MACPHERSON, George Cook. Chaplain (Capt.), 2nd Highland Eight Inf. ; born at The Manse,
Newton-on-Ayr., Ayr, nth March, 1880 ; joined in 1896 ; served in South Africa, Egypt,
France, Mesopotamia and India ; contracted malaria and invalided home. Son of the Rev.
Robert and Catherine D. Macpherson, The Manse, Elgin. Occupation, chaplain to the
forces.

on-Spey, 7th June, 1889 ; joined at Inverness, 22nd April, 1908 ; served in China, India and
France ; wounded, resulting in compound fracture of right arm ; awarded Mons Star, 1914.

30th Jan., 1886 ; joined at Edinburgh, Sept., 1914 ; served in France ; killed near Loos, 25th
