wounded at Passchendaele Ridge, 4th Oct., 1917, by gunshot in neck and fracture of the 6th
vertebra ; exposed for 31 hours during which time was twice wounded and buried, causing
withered side. Son of J. C. Dawson, 221, High Street, Elgin, and Jessie Peters or Dawson.
