CRUICKSHANK, Alexander. No. 24668, Pte., Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders ; born at
Balmenach, Cromdale, 13th Sept., 1899 ; joined at Nairn, 6th March, 1918 ; served in Ireland
and France ; wounded in left leg. Son of James (deceased) and Christina Cruickshank, Bal-
menach, Cromdale. Occupation, baker.

Morayshire, 25th Nov., 1884 ; joined at Buckie, April, 1915 ; served in Home Waters. Son of

CRUICKSHANK, Alexander Keir. No. 265247, Pte., 6th Battn. Seaforths ; born at Fochabers,
3rd Sept., 1897 ; joined at Fochabers, August, 1914 ; served in France ; wounded near
Paschendaele Ridge, 4th Oct., 1917, was taken prisoner and died in a German Field Hospital,
at Hooglede, Flanders, 10th Oct., 1917. Son of Alexander and Jessie Cruickshank, Fochabers.
