UPPER GARRABOST.
MACSWEEN— *GEORGE, Pte., 4th Gordons; killed in action in
Flanders, 16th June, 1915. aged 24 ; was slightly wounded on
the previous day, but refused to go down the line to have his
wound looked to as he desired to be in the attack which was
coming off next day, and in which he fell. He was a student
at Aberdeen Training College when he joined the Gordons (son
of Mr John Macsween).
