Dunrobin Castle

While some of the meat served at Dunrobin Castle was from the home farm, much of it came 'on the hoof' from tenant farmers as payment of rent in kind, along with fish, milk, butter, cheese and eggs. Chickens were bought in to supplement those from tenants.
