Maid grete debait with force and violence

Wallace beheld quhilk weill in were him knew
Fallowis he said agane all at yis place
Thai will nocht faill bot yus ftandis ye cace

Wallace v. men yat douchty was in deid
Ilkane flew ane and Wallace gart twa dee
Butellar was neift and faid yis will nocht be
On bak he drew and leit his curage flaik
The wourthy fcottis preuit weill for fcotlandis faik
Gude longaveill his counter maid fa fare.
And craufurd als yai fai^eit yame na mare
Richt neir be yan approchit to ye nycht
And stemis to peir began in to yare ficht
Suthroun set wachis and to yair fuppar went
The butellar was fair grevit in his entent
