Early 16th century (Myln d. 1548), covering c. 1127-c. 1516. For English translations see 14.1 and (part only) 25.10. An improved text (edited by Cosmo Innes) was published in 1831, with Editio altera, cui accedit appendix cum nominum et locorum indice added to the title. The 1831 edition has an appendix of accounts (Latin) of Myln as Dean of Christianity of Angus, 1511-13, and as master of the bridge works at Dunkeld, 1513-14; and of Thomas Brown as master of the bridge works, 1515-16. For an abbreviated translation of the accounts, see 25.10. Extra copies of the appendix were printed for binding in with the 1823 edition.
