| Description | Photograph of a three storey tenement surrounded by wooden fencing. On the left a sign attached to a smaller building facing the tenement reads Hastie and Co. Sheet Metal Company. The right side of the building seems to indicate that some demolition work has been carried out. It has crumbling brickwork, a roof shaped line and three square frames bulit into the wall that may have been windows. There is also a recess in the wall that may have been a stairwell. Underneath there is a low building with small windows visible above the wooden fence. |

Shows tenements and shops around St Leonards before buildings were pulled down for slum clearance. Half-plate gelatin-silver prints. Precise address of building is given where known. |
