The entry added in the 15th century for 21st December records the date of death of someone whom the owner of the book wished to remember each year, probably a close relative: 'Obitus domine Isabelle domine de Lorne Anno domini millesimo cccc'mo xxxix'mo (The death of Lady Isabel Lady of Lorne in the year of the Lord 1439).
