This section contains a small sample of the Library’s digitised materials, including examples from the vast collections of music and song and some early and rare Gaelic books. These resources are free to download for personal use.

There are also 16 digitised recordings of Gaelic songs from the 'Gaelfonn' label which can be listened to on this page. ‘Gaelfonn’ was a Glasgow-based record label which focussed mainly on Gaelic material. It was founded in 1956 by Murdo Ferguson, a Gaelic speaker and singer from the Isle of Lewis.
