Note by the Secretary-General.
In execution of the Council’s decision of January 23rd, 1936,1 the Secretary-General invited
the Governments to be so good as to forward to him, by July 15th, 1936, any observations tbev
might desire to submit to the Assembly on the above-mentioned draft Conventions
Down to the date of publication of the present document, the following Governments have
submitted observations:
Australia
Austria
Belgium
Bolivia
United Kingdom of Great Bri¬
tain and Northern Ireland.
Estonia
Finland
Hungary
August 24th, 1936.
His Majesty s Government in the Commonwealth of Australia agrees in principle to the former
Convention, but does not favour the creation of an International Criminal Court.
