8. Table XIV gives details of the yield of pulp per calf throughout the year.
The average yield per animal has risen slightly, being 5.31 grammes as opposed to
5.24 in 1917-18.

9. Table XV calls for no comment.
10. Civil Assistant Surgeon M. Gopala Ayyar acted as temporary assistant to
the Director throughout the year.
11. The vaccination class was held as usual during February and March 1919.
Thirty-nine students attended and obtained qualifying marks in the examination
held at the end of the course.
12. The staff of the section worked well throughout the year and carried out
their duties satisfactorily.
