                  No. 876-R., dated Amraoti, the 17th June 1901.

I have the honour to forward the Sanitary Commissioner's Notes on the
Vaccination statements for 1900-01, which were received in my office in print
on the 12th June 1901.

2.  The orders of the Government of India in Home Department letter
No. 2747, dated the 26th March 1901, regarding the curtailment of reports
were received in my office on the 26th April, and were communicated to all
Deputy Commissioners and Heads of Departments on the 6th of May. The
Notes of the Sanitary Commissioner had already been written, and therefore the
orders referred to above could not be carried into effect so far as these Notes are
concerned.

3.  Considering the circumstances of the year, the facts set forth in the Notes
may, on the whole, be regarded as satisfactory.
