5. Changes in the strength of the establishment.—The vaccinator
of Shirpur continued to act as Registration karkun in addition to his
other duties throughout the year.

The permanent vaccination establishment in Thar and Parkar
district was increased by three vaccinators and one candidate
vaccinator. The three additional vaccinators were posted to the
desert talukas of Thar and Parkar District—Mithi, Chachro and Nagar
Parkar—Besides this establishment, a temporary candidate vaccinator
sanctioned by the District Local Board was employed for 8 months
during the year.

An additional vaccination karkun was appointed permanently in
Hyderabad town.

Owing to the transfer of vaccination work of Bansda State the
number of vaccinators in Native States was reduced from 22 to 21
with effect from July 1927.

No other changes of importance in the strength of the vaccin-
ation establishment took place during the year.
