fully rely. They obligingly fulfilled their promise, and though no fresh supplies of
lymph were received from the Mofussil I was enabled to establish a supply of excellent
lymph, and at the same time to vaccinate a great many children.
Unlike the previous year, small-pox did not prevail, during the last months of the
year, to any appreciable extent; and thus the total number for the year, though greater
by a few hundreds than in the year preceding, yet did not come up to what was expected at
the commencement of the year.
