20. Statement no. IV shows the religion, sex and residence
of the patients admitted during the year under report and is
self-explanatory.
21. Statement no. V shows the ages of the patients ad-
mitted during the year. As in the past, it will be noted that
the largest number of patients admitted during the year was
between the ages of 20 and 40.
Majority of persons predisposed to insanity generally break-
down at this period of life. Hence it is considered the most
dangerous epoch of life by Psychiatrists.
22. Statement no. VI shows, the forms of mental disorders
of those admitted during the year 1937 and is self-explanatory.
