MISCELLANEOUS.
Accommodation.
6. There was overcrowding in the Dacca Asylum from April to the end of the
year. The slight overcrowding among the females caused
no inconvenience. A tubercle ward is under construction,
which, when completed, will relieve overcrowding, and admit of the segregation of
tubercle cases. The Tezpur Asylum was also overcrowded, and another male ward,
in addition to the one under construction, is being arranged for. The criminal accom-
modation here is especially deficient.
