(a) Draws an allowance of Rs. 40 besides as Assistant to the Superintendent for giving clinical instruction
at the Asylum which is debitable to "Medical College."
(b) Includes asylum allowance of Rs. 15 and local allowance of Rs. 10.
(c) Includes personal allowance of Rs. 1-8-0.
(d) Includes personal allowanoe of Re. 1 of one First-class male attendant.
(e) Includes personal allowance of Rs. 2.
(f) Superintendent gets a consolidated pay as Acting District Medical and Sanitary Officer but no separate
charge allowance now.
(g) Includes asylum allowance Rs. 25. (h) Includes personal allowance Rs. 2½ each.
(j) One on Rs. 14 and one on Rs. 11. (k) One on Rs. 12, one on Rs. 10 and one (female) on Rs. 9.

| Description | The Mental Health collection consists of 45 volumes dating from 1867 to 1948. Reports describe lunatic asylums and mental hospitals in British India, revealing institutional conditions and care of native and European patients. Statistics show changes in classification of causes and types of insanity, and allow analysis of asylum populations. |

| Description | The India Papers collection contains publications of the central (Imperial) Government and many Indian states. Most states came under British rule. Much of the collection dates from between the post-Mutiny re-organisation of the Indian Government and Indian Independence in 1947. Some items published in London by John Murray. |
