The capacity of the Narotamdas Madhavdas Mental Hospital, Naupáda, is, at 140 superficial feet per paying patient, and at 80 superficial feet per pauper patient, for
230 males and 42 females; the maximum number of lunatics confined on any one night was 242 males and 64 females.
The capacity of the Ratnágiri Mental Hospital is, at 50 superficial feet per patient, for 140 males and 43 females; the maximum number of lunatics confined on any
one night was 139 males and 47 females.
The capacity of the Central Mental Hospital, Yerávda, is, at 65 superficial feet per patient, 173 for males and 58 for females, in association dormitories, 80 superficial feet
per patient in single rooms (111 males and 39 females), at 140 superficial feet per paying patient (43 males and 26 females). Infirmary accommodation is additional at 80
superficial feet per patient for 35 males and 9 females in dormitories and in single rooms at 154 superficial feet for 16 males and 7 female patients; the maximum number
of European lunatics confined on any one night was 36 males and 80 females and that of Indian lunatics was 333 males and 128 females.
The capacity of the Dhárwár Mental Hospital is, at 80 superficial feet per patient, for 111 males and 45 females; the maximum number of lunatics confined on any
one night was 112 males and 53 females.
The capacity of the Ahmedabad Mental Hospital is, at 64 superficial feet per patient, for 136 males and 31 females, the maximum number of lunatics confined on any
one night was 158 males and 45 females.
The capacity of the Hyderabad Mental Hospital is, at 74 and 70 superficial feet per patient, for 250 males and 50 females respectively ; the maximum number of
lunatics confined on any one night was 112 males and 12 females.
