25. Exhibition.—Through the energy and public spirit of the
Honorary Secretary, Health Association, Ward No. XXX (the College
Manager), a Health Exhibition and a Cattle Show were held as usual
during 1932-33 in the College premises with the sanction of Govern-
ment, and a stall was also opened at the Calcutta Health Exhibition
in which important exhibits were shown and demonstrated to the
public. Useful leaflets regarding cattle problems as well as the utility
of the College and hospital were distributed to visitors and the public.

Extensive research on trypanosomiasis and rinderpest. Reports show how veterinary medicine controlled disease, maintained livestock and alleviated famine. They explore its effect on military and local communities. |
