No. 491.—In exercise of the power conferred by Section 3 of the
Glanders and Farcy Act, XIII of 1899, an(* a^so by the same section of the
said Act as applied to Berar, the Chief Commissioner is pleased to declare
that the provisions of the Act shall extend to the whole of the Central
Provinces and Berar in respect of the disease " Equine Surra."

                           Nagpur, the 10th November 1914.

No. 492.—In exercise of the power conferred by Section 7 of the
Glanders and Farcy Act, XIII of 1899, and also by the same section of
the said Act as applied to Berar, the Chief Commissioner is pleased to
appoint the following officers as Veterinary Practitioners under the Act,
in respect of the disease " Equine Surra for the areas shown against
each:—

Veterinary Practitioners.

Areas.

The Superintendents, Civil Veterinary Depart-
ment.

The whole of the Central Provinces and Berar.

Officers of the Army Veterinary Corps, Jub-
balpore.

The Cantonment of jubbulporeand its vicinity
within a radius of 5 miles.

Officers of the Army Veterinary Corps, Saugor.

The Cantonment of Saugor and its vicinity
within a radius of 5 miles.

                           Nagpur, the 19th January 1915.

No. 20.—In exercise of the power conferred by Section 7 of the
Glanders and Farcy Act, XIII of 1899, and also by the same section of the
said Act as applied to Berar, the Chief Commissioner is pleased to appoint
the following officers as Veterinary Practitioners under the Act, in respect
of the disease " Equine Surra," for the area specified :—
