in the number of Co-operative Cattle Breeding Societies
and is making every effort to meet their requirements. It
does not, however, attach so much importance to the opening
of societies as it does to the help which the staff of the Co-
operative Department can give in discussing with members
of Co-operative Societies the economics of cattle-breeding
as at present practised in the majority of our Indian villages.
