The number of stud bulls, 616, supplied to the districts
this year creates a new record for the cattle-breeding acti-
vities of the Department. Notwithstanding the difficulties
encountered it shows that something very substantial is
being done to help the cattle breeding industry in the pro-
vince by the steady increase in the number of pedigree bulls
employed for breeding purposes in the villages.
