acute Nephritis.

A guinea-pig inoculated intraperitoneally with 5 c.c. blood
direct on October 10th, and a rabbit which received a similar
inoculation, showed no symptoms of Surra.

appeared in large numbers in the blood. On the 4th another
intravenous injection of 50 c.c. of a 12 per cent. solution was
given and the trypanosoma disappeared on the following day
