(a) Cock—Note the uniform ingrowth of bony tissue into the medullary canal almost
completely effacing and occluding it.
(b) Hen—This condition is partially seen in the hen.
(c) Normal fowl—Section of medullary canal of a normal fowl. Note the uniform
depth of the canal.
