annual rainfall of from 75-100 inches, and lying from 3,000 to 4,000 feet above sea
level, (b) the irrigated parts of Nurpur and Dehra Tehsils lying lower down with a
rainfall of 50 inches, and (c) the unirrigated parts with a somewhat lesser rainfall
(Fig. 1.)
