   In the report for the past year it was stated that accommodation was available for 20
patients, but during the year under notice, owing to the increase in the number of admissions,
two of the rooms in the same block of building, namely, the examination and store rooms, were
made available to meet the increased demand. By this arrangement the building is now capable
of accommodating 38 patients. On the days on which the weekly examinations are held, one of
these rooms is temporarily made use of for the purpose.

   The following table compares the extent to which venereal disease was prevalent during
the past three years in the British troops:—
