REPORT ON THE WORKING OF THE KING INSTITUTE, GUINDY
activities and making it still more useful in the matter of prevention of
epidemic diseases, reducing the suffering, and diminishing the death rate
of the population of this Presidency from preventible diseases.
Finally, before concluding this review, the Director has much
pleasure in placing on record the hearty co-operation and the loyal support
of all the members of the staff in bringing about a satisfactory record of
progress and in helping to bring the King Institute to its present standard
of efficiency.
The Public Analyst desires to mention his appreciation of the
assistance of the Chemical Assistants Messrs. M. Parameswara Ayyar and
K.V. Sundaram and of the keen interest they have taken in his food-
analysis work.
