Description[Volume 8]: Supplementary volume. "This volume contains the questions addressed by the Commission to Commanding Officers of native regiments and their replies. The answers are quoted by number only, as for various reasons it is not considerable desirable to make public the name of the regiment to which each replies refers." Questions covered include number and caste/composition of regiments, number of hemp drug users, effects and costs of hemp drugs.
