342 FAMILY AND DOMESTIC LETTERS. [1689-94.

The Same to the Same, 11th October 1689.
344. Much honoured sir, I am necessitat to call you to this place against Munday's
night, or veiy early on Tuesday morning. Your presence here peremptory at
that time, being very significant for the King's service, and at this juncture,
indispensibly needfull ; and so is importunatly delt for by,

Whitehall, April the 19th [1694.]
345. Sir John, I do assure you it is with great satisfaction that I haue this day
receiued yours of the 3d instant, and do assure you it shall be noe faith of
your affaires so as that, with a purpose of makeing some stay here, you will
attend on Munday at midday, when you will be confidently expected by,
