scollers go ignorant, and now he is putting me to practis that ; but I am realy
perswaded that he wil turn all at last to his glory and my good. Now, honor-
abil and loving brother, wil yow be plesed to caus Allexander Maxwell speak to
my ant, so that, if it be possibil, I may get as much monies as to buy some
cloths, and a few books, so that I may come home in a postur of quich my
freands may not be asshamed. Howsoever, let me have some instructions from
yow how I may solicit your bussines, for I am asshured that yow cannot have
an agent mor dilligent and earful then I, who wold be glad to subscrab this
treuth with my blood. Let me have the honnour to kis your lady's hands, for
