hangs over you." Approaching the boat, he
observed Sir James and Percy, and instantly
drew his sword, and ran towards them, exclaim-
ing "Villains!" — but Rob Roy interposed,
and said, " Stop, ***** 1 your hospitality has
been abused, and your anger is just ; but I
have pledged my honour that the life of Sir
