MINOR SEPTS OF CLAN CHATTAN.
4. — His tombstone in the churchyard of Moy, once very
handsome, but now by the lapse of time, showing decay in
lettering and ornamentation.
Among the numerous Macqueens of the present day who
have distinguished themselves may be mentioned Major-Gen-
eral Sir John Withers Macqueeu, K.C.B., who entered the
Indian Service in 1854, and became Major-General, 10th
December, 1892. The bald enumeration of his distinguished
services requires sixteen closely printed pages of Hart.
