The records of Calvary Church, New York, state that Mrs. Craig was buried
May 6, 1849.
The inscription on the monument by the Bayley Vault in Van Cortlandt Park,
New York, erroneously states 11 May, 1849, as the date of Mrs. Craig's death. The
monument was erected about i860, and the faulty date was doubtless inscribed from
memory.
