"A few days since died, most sincerely regretted, and on Thursday evening wa9
buried in the family vault at Trinity Church Yard, Miss Helena Bache, one of the
daughters of Theophylact Bache, Esq., of this City."

"Died: On Sunday evening last" (i. e., March 28th) "in the 22nd year of her
age, Miss Helena Bache, Youngest daughter of Theophylact Bache, Esq. Amiable
and lovely, her death is regretted by a large circle of friends to whom her endearing
qualities were long known, and the value of her acquaintance justly appreciated."
"From The Weekly Museum of Saturday, 19 March, 1808:
"Died: On the 7th inst., at Yonkers, of a lingering and painful illness, Mrs.
Catherine Van Cortlandt, consort of Augustus Van Cortlandt, Esq., in the 65th
year of her age."
