XXIV. James Campbell Craignish, who held the
commission of a captain in the 7th Regiment of Foot,
is the last on this branch of the Craignish Tree.
We now take up the right hand branch of the family
tree, to whom the property reverted, in consequence of
the second failure of heirs male in this family, on the
death of Dugald the fourteenth chief. The represen-
tatives of this branch are now in possession of the
property of Craignish.
John Gorm, the tenth in succession as has been
shown, had two sons; the eldest, Archibald, succeeded
to the titles and estates ; the second,
