Feel so glad to be here again.

A good deal of Gaelic. More hopeful about

Sick at crofter debate. Touching reception by the
people.
Sep. 4th.
Quiet evening. Long boating cruise. Great
beauty. Mrs. Grant went to four houses. A week
of much enjoyment, and feel now fairly embarked.
Long time in the ruins. Settled for Y.W.C.A.
meetings. Visited village.

Great storm. Had a talk with Ritchie. Worry-
ing post. Got quiet after answering them. Had
a good deal of talk with Miss Steinberger. A week
of a good deal of collapse, but intensely happy.
